bogotazo- summer 2005

in the summer of 2005, i finished two years of work in bogota, colombia. in this city i learned about the myth of progress and how it is neatly packaged and sold to cities throughout latin america. juan was sitting against one of the many bright blue plastic protective fences that covered the development of transmilenio in bogota, one of the world bank's most popular projects which continues to be replicated throughout latin america.
